Where Women Shape the Future of Tech 🩵 

The KBC Women in Tech Challenge is an inclusive talent initiative designed to attract, engage and empower women across technical, functional and leadership roles. Through online quizzes adapted to different career paths, the challenge highlights skills, potential and ambition, while offering participants visibility, learning opportunities and career connections with KBC.

Rules of the Challenge

The challenge is open to women located in Belgium aged 21+. They compete in different categories:

  • Students
  • Professionals
  • KBC Employees

Participants register online and select one or more tracks: Technical / Functional / Leadership. 

Each participant completes the online quiz corresponding to their selected track. 
The quiz is time-limited (10 minutes) and must be completed in one session. 
Scores are based on correct answers (15 questions) & completion time.

Top scorers from each track will advance to the finals on 27 April 2026 in Leuven, where the prizes will be awarded.

Challenge Tracks 

Participants choose one of three tracks aligned with their profile and career aspirations.

Each track is assessed through a curated online quiz combining technical knowledge, problem-solving, real-life scenarios and decision-making questions.

 

1. Technical Track

Target roles: Software Engineers, Data Engineers, Cloud Engineers, Security Engineers, IT Developers

Quiz focus:

  • Core IT & engineering concepts
  • Logical reasoning & problem solving
  • Technology use cases in banking & finance
  • Data, cloud, security & digital platforms


2. Functional Track

Target roles: Business Analysts, Functional Analysts, Data Analysts, IT Business Partners

Quiz focus:

  • Business analysis & requirements
  • Process optimization
  • Data interpretation
  • Collaboration between business & IT
  • Use cases inspired by financial services


3. Leadership Track

Target roles: Scrum Masters, Project Managers, Product Owners, Team Leads, IT Managers

Quiz focus:

  • Agile & project methodologies
  • Leadership & team dynamics
  • Stakeholder management
  • Decision-making in complex environments
  • Diversity-aware leadership scenarios
