I am part of the support team, where we are responsible for providing daily assistance to over 300 users. We ensure access control and identity management. Rolling out the new Windows 11 image is also part of our responsibilities. Additionally, setting up meeting rooms and/or medical offices is included in our tasks. Since we operate in a healthcare environment, all of this is done within a zerotrust framework.
At Hubo, I was part of the dedicated 2nd line support team. Our primary role was to resolve complex issues escalated by the 1st line support team. We maintained direct communication with the system administrator and escalated issues beyond our expertise. Our responsibilities included troubleshooting network and firewall issues, assigning the correct permissions in Active Directory, and occasionally stepping in for the field team when needed.
At the Flemish government, I was the first and sole point of contact for three schools. I was responsible for keeping systems and system images up to date, deploying them via the FOG server, and fine-tuning them as needed. Additionally, in collaboration with a senior consultant, I facilitated the transition to Azure/Intune. I also coached the interns and taught children about IT principles.
